Nick Kahl has lived in East County all his life. Nick has seen the best of East County – how hard work and strong family values have made this a place we can all be proud of.

But Nick Kahl also sees the challenges confronting us in the years ahead. Challenges like making health care more affordable and government more accountable. To confront these challenges, Nick would use an East County perspective to do the right thing for us.

Make Health Care More Affordable
It’s about time that families come first, not the big insurance companies. Nick Kahl wants to reduce the money we have to spend on unnecessary insurance company bureaucracy.

Increase Government Accountability
The politicians are good at dreaming up new programs but not so good at making sure they work. Nick Kahl will be there for us, working to cut government waste and make sure our taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.

Lower Class Sizes
With all of the challenges facing our kids in tomorrow’s job market, they’ll need a solid education. Nick Kahl supports cutting administrative spending to provide more money in the classroom for lowering class sizes and improving student performance.
